There are many ways to describe Jackie Therrien, but unique, talented, and charismatic just seem to scratch the surface. However, there is one word that ties her all together and is true to her character: Jackie is real. Few people sing so honestly from their heart and soul. Jackie does so in just the right way, combining art, story, and song in perfect unison.
A LITTLE ABOUT JACKIE...
Jackie Therrien is a 21-year-old indie folk, Americana, and alternative singer-songwriter from Merrimack, New Hampshire. She began composing instrumental music at the age of 12 and started writing lyrics by 13. Therrien currently writes and performs all of her own music and plays both piano and guitar.
In October 2019, Therrien released her debut single, "Get My Attention," which has accumulated over 14,000 streams across more than 65 countries. She followed up in August 2020 with two singles, "Beautiful Boy" and an acoustic version of the same song. Her debut album, "Night Music," released in March 2022, features seven original tracks, all of which were written, recorded, produced, and performed solely by Therrien.
Her most recent release, the single “I Saw You at the Grocery Store,” has become her most streamed song to date with over 25,000 streams across all platforms.
Now based in Nashville and studying songwriting at Belmont University, Therrien has performed at notable venues including The Bluebird Café and 6th and Peabody. She has also played at prominent venues in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, such as The Burren Backroom and the legendary Club Passim in Boston. Most recently, she was selected by BMI and Belmont University to perform as a finalist in Belmont University's annual Spring Writer's Showcase.

PERFORMANCE SPOTLIGHT
In April of 2023, Jackie was invited by The Recording Academy and Grammy U to perform as one of 8 finalists at the Grammy U songwriters showcase in Nashville, TN. At this showcase, the 8 finalist go to perform for a board of Recording Academy members, and receive feedback on the song that they were invited to play. Jackie was invited to perform her song "Unlove You" which is available to stream on all platforms.
